Why Choose Fatboy: A Lifestyle Icon for UAE Living
Fatboy bean bags are instantly recognisable. Designed in the Netherlands, Fatboy has turned the humble bean bag into an iconic piece of furniture, with oversized dimensions, playful colours and plenty of room to get comfortable. From the Original design to the floating variants, there is a Fatboy bean bag for just about every kind of space.
For UAE homes, the outdoor collection is especially easy to enjoy. The Fatboy Original Outdoor bean bag is made for balconies, patios, and pool decks, with weather-resistant covers that can withstand the elements. If you want the ultimate all-rounder, the Floatzac features a mesh underside for quick drainage, transitioning seamlessly into a floating bean bag. On the other hand, if you’re just staying on dry land and want the flexibility to switch from sitting to lying down, then you’ll be more than happy with the Buggle-up Bean Bag and its adjustable straps.
Take Your Lounging to the Next Level
Far more than basic seating, Fatboy bean bags adapt to how you want to relax. Paired with the Rock & Roll frame, it becomes a playful, cushioned rocking chair. Fitted onto the Beanbase Beanbag Chair, it offers structured support from an elevated seat.
The Fatboy Point Pouf is another versatile addition to your bean bag, allowing you to use it as a footrest, side table, or as an extra seat when guests come over. With an extensive range of fabric covers, colours, and sizes available, you have complete freedom to mix and match your bean bag to suit your style and comfort.
Frequently Asked Questions
If your bean bag starts to feel flat or you sink too close to the floor, it likely needs a top up. Over years of heavy use, the high-density EPS pearls naturally compress. You can easily restore the original firmness by refilling it with EPS pearls.
While the Rock & Roll rocking chair may be able to support other large bean bags, it is specifically designed to fit the dimensions (180 x 140 cm) of the Fatboy Original bean bags. Using it with significantly smaller or differently-shaped bags may affect the balance and experience.
While Olefin fabric and Sunbrella fabrics are both breathable and UV-resistant, any material will absorb some heat if left in direct sunlight for hours. However, unlike plastic or metal furniture, the EPS pearl filling does not retain heat, allowing the bean bag to cool down almost instantly once moved into the shade.
For local orders in Dubai and across the UAE, your Fatboy pieces typically arrive fully assembled and ready to use. They are delivered via our specialised logistics teams rather than a standard courier. If you’re ordering for an event, we also offer a full installation service where our team handles the positioning and setup of your rental furniture for you.
The Fatboy Original is theclassic oversized choice, perfect for large living rooms or open terraces. The Slim versions are slightly more compact and use softer fabrics, making them ideal for bedrooms or apartments where space is a bit more limited but comfort is still a priority.
